William Heath is the man responsible for the world's very first comic, the Glasgow Looking Glass. He wrote and drew the comic, and it is very possible that without him comics wouldn't exist at all today. So it seems fitting that we should name our awards after him - the creator of comics.
We will be giving awards annually for:
- Best Comic
- Best Comic Strip
- Best Cartoonist
